Account deletion

This page explains how users of the BeBalanced app can delete their account and request deletion of their personal data.

The BeBalanced app is provided by Ovation Ventures, Inc. in collaboration with Balance.

How to delete your account

You can delete your account directly from the BeBalanced app:

  1. Open the BeBalanced app.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Go to Profile.

  4. Tap Delete account.

  5. Follow the confirmation steps.

When your account is deleted, your BeBalanced account will also be deleted across the BeBalanced mobile app and BeBalanced websites.

If you cannot access the app

If you are unable to access the BeBalanced app, you can still request account deletion without reinstalling the app.

What data is deleted

When your account deletion request is completed, BeBalanced deletes the personal data associated with your account, including:

  • Account and profile information

  • Login/authentication information associated with your BeBalanced account

  • BeBalanced app account data

  • BeBalanced website account data

  • App preferences and account activity associated with your account

  • Linked financial account data, if applicable

  • Bravo chat data associated with your account, if applicable

What data may be retained

Some limited information may be retained when required or permitted for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, compliance, dispute resolution, or operational purposes.

If any information is retained, it is kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes, or as required by applicable law.

Account deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days of submission. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
